Important notes:
- You will never have to force any acrylic part with another component, everything should fit satisfyingly
- Socketed components don't need to be forced in, they should slide in with mild pressure
- Fasten acrylic plates with screws conservatively, same with PCB standoff mounts, do not over-tighten
- Do not clean acrylic with alcohol, it will crack
- You will need 58 switches ready to complete this assembly, as the PCB will be held in place in the case by the switch sockets
Recommendations:
- Work with gloves on, so that no fingerprints get stuck between the layers
- Lots of patience, go slowly
1. Peel off all the protective sticker
For visibility purposes, this guide keeps the protective sticker intact (clear acrylic is almost invisible to a camera)
2. Take a bottom and a middle plate
3. Populate the hex holes with 6mm (short) standoffs
4. Screw in the standoffs from the bottom
5. Take another middle plate and lay it on top to confirm fit
